Prayer of Confession (unison).

Almighty God, you poured out your Spirit upon gathered disciples creating bold tongues, open ears, and a new community of faith. We confess that we hold back the force of your Spirit among us. We do not listen for your word of grace, speak the good news of your love, or live as a people made one in Christ. Have mercy on us, O God. Transform our timid lives by the power of your Spirit and fill us with a flaming desire to be your faithful people, doing your will for the sake of Jesus Christ our Lord.

Stephen Ministry. Are you or do you know someone who is facing challenges in life?  A Stephens Minister is ready to be that person who might be of help as a confidential, active listener and a compassionate caregiver. Anyone who wants the services of a Stephen Minister doesn’t have to be a member of the church. Anyone can call for a Stephen Minister or refer a friend or relative.  Call Christian Johnson, 231-342-5798, Greg Socha, 264-9471, Connie Clark, 264-5977, or Klaus Lehrer, 267-5293.

Thank you Dixie Cronin for volunteering your time to water and to pull the weeds from the plants around the church. May God bless you!

Volunteer needed.  If you like to garden, we are looking for a person who would be interested in watering the plants around the church and pulling the weeds from the stone areas.

Thanks to all who participated in the youth musical “Lifesong” last Sunday. The singers who participated did an outstanding musical presentation. The musicians truly enhanced the quality of the sound and a big thank you to Pete Vandenberg for setting up and manning the sound board.  I think the content and musical portions were heard clearly.            Sincerely, Cheryl Knight
